  • 1 pkg. (8 oz) Cream Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 tsp. Almond Extract
  • 1 can (21 oz.) Cherry Pie Filling (can also use Blueberry or other)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 – 3 T milk

Directions

  1. Crust: Unroll crescent dough, separate into triangles (reserve 4 for top).
  2. On large pizza pan or pizza stone, arrange 12 triangles in a circle with wide ends toward the outside of baking pan (points won’t meet).
  3. Using a roller or glass, roll crescent to a 14" circle, pressing seams together to seal.
  4. Filling: Combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, egg and almond flavoring in a mixing bowl, mixing until smooth.
  5. Spread over dough to within about 1/2 inch of edges. Top with pie filling.
  6. Cut remaining dough triangles into strips and arrange on top. Press ends to seal at center and edges.
  7. Bake at 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before drizzling glaze.
  9. Mix glaze – 1/2 cup powdered sugar and 2 – 3 T milk. Drizzle over crescent roll.
