
Classic Calzone
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb Italian sausage
- 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1 cup marinara
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Cook in skillet until meat is no longer oink. Cool slightly and add to a mixing bowl. Add the chopped bell pepper, black olives, and marinara.
- Stir meat mixture and peppers, olives and marinara together and set aside.
- Shred cheese.
- On a sheet pan lay out one refrigerated pizza crust. Roll out to fit pan. Make two rows with mozzarella cheese. Scoop meat mixture over cheese.
- Carefully spread second pizza crust over meat mixture and pinch ends of crusts together.
- Sprinkle top of crust with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning and drizzle a small amount of olive oil over top.
- Bake at 400 for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Serve with remaining marinara.
