
Scalloped Potatoes
Creamy, Thinly Sliced, Tender
Ingredients
- 4 or 5 Medium Potatoes, Peeled and Sliced
- 3 Tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
- 1 Sliced Onion
- 2 Cups Whole Milk
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 Cup Shredded Cheese
Directions
- Grease an 8×8 pan with butter. Preheat oven to 350.
- Place peeled potatoes and sliced onions, flour, salt, and pepper in pan alternating layers. On last layer add butter.
- Heat milk on stove top until hot but not boiling. Pour over potato mixture.
- Top with cheese. Cover and bake.
- Bake until potatoes are tender. About 50 minutes.
- Uncover and bake until top browns.
- Remove from oven and let stand until sauce thickens.
- Enjoy!
