Lunchroom Ladies Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 2 cups flour (self rising)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
    • Icing:
  • 1/4 cup softened butter
  • 1/4 cup canned milk (evaporated milk) or regular milk will work
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • Dash salt

Directions

Mix all ingredients in mixer then pour into a prepared 9 x 13 pan. Bake 20 – 25 minutes at 350. Bake until no jiggling and a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Icing: Mix all together in mixer. Frost cooled cake.
