Fried Corn



Fried Corn

Ingredients

  • 6 to 8 ears fresh corn- cut kernels off corn and add to skillet
  • 1 T bacon grease or oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 T sugar
  • 1/2 T pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 to 1 stick butter

Directions

  1. Add oil to skillet and get hot.
  2. Add corn and water to skillet.
  3. Cook on medium heat til heated through.
  4. Add other ingredients including 1/2 stick butter allow to cook for 15 to 20 minutes adding more butter if you want.
  5. Stir continuously to keep from sticking.
  6. Cook in skillet until most of the water has dissolved.
