
Fried Corn
Ingredients
- 6 to 8 ears fresh corn- cut kernels off corn and add to skillet
- 1 T bacon grease or oil
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 T sugar
- 1/2 T pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 to 1 stick butter
Directions
- Add oil to skillet and get hot.
- Add corn and water to skillet.
- Cook on medium heat til heated through.
- Add other ingredients including 1/2 stick butter allow to cook for 15 to 20 minutes adding more butter if you want.
- Stir continuously to keep from sticking.
- Cook in skillet until most of the water has dissolved.
